I was in an astronomy lecture when the professor said “Noting can happen faster than the speed of light.” I said he was wrong. The professor asked me to prove it. I went to the blackboad and drew a circle representing the big bang and a line representing light streaming away from the big bang for one year. Then another line representing light streaming away from the big bang for one year in the opposite direction. The edge of the sphere of light streaming away from big bang represents the edge of the universe. 1 year of travel of light in one direction for one year equals 1 light year plus 1 year of travel of light in one year equals 2 light years in one year. The professor did not like me after that.

On another occassion I proved a professor wrong while auditing a physics class. He asked me if I was in his class, I said no that I was just auditing. He asked me to leave and not come back.
